The Hayloft

This spacious and airy apartment on the upper story of the Inn’s 1860 barn features exposed wood beams, plentiful sunlight, and stunning views. Steeped in Maine cottage style, it’s decorated with vintage furniture, earthy tones, and local art.

With 3 bedrooms (2 standard, 1 lofted) and 1 bathroom, the loft sleeps up to 6 guests. The master suite has a king bed and a sitting area with the original sliding hay door-turned-picture window overlooking the inn’s flower gardens.

The living space has a vaulted ceiling, sitting area, kitchen, dining area, and reading nook. French doors open to a spacious balcony with a bird’s eye view of the entire estate, including the ceremony site, lawn, patio and river. It’s a beautiful place to take photos before and during events, and the perfect place to steal a quiet moment during the festivities.

Owners Sarah and Stuart used to call the Hayloft home. They feel there is something particularly special about it, and they still miss the view, which is easily the best in the house. They are happy to finally be sharing this special space with you.
